K-4 Title 1 Reading Math Teacher

Public Schools is accepting applications for the 2019-2020 school year for a
full time Title I Reading/Math teacher.
The successful applicant will be in charge of the district’s Title I
program and will work with the Kenesaw elementary staff to design student
interventions that support them with mastering essential reading and math skills.
Experience working in Professional
Learning Communities is desired.
Candidates must possess strong instructional skills and the ability to
design lessons for struggling learners that engage them and augment
learning.  The successful applicant must
maintain a valid Nebraska Teaching Certificate, hold a Bachelor’s Degree from
an accredited college or university, and have the necessary training and
endorsement in the level and discipline of this assignment.  The goal of this position is to increase
reading and math skills with students that are below grade level.  The teacher will work in cooperation with other
elementary teachers and paraprofessionals.

Kenesaw is a Targeted
Assisted Title I school.  The 2019-2020
base salary has been set at $36,100.
Full BCBS family health and single dental insurance are provided among
other benefits.  Kenesaw is a D1/D2
school with approximately 275 students PK-12.
The village is located in the center of the Tri-cities – Kearney,
Hastings, and Grand Island with only a short commute to each.
