English Language Arts Teaching Position
Kenesaw Public Schools is accepting applications for the 2020-2021 school year for an energetic, positive, and qualified 7-12 English Language Arts teacher. The successful candidate must have a desire to continue to improve their skills and collaboratively participate in professional development opportunities.Current classes taught include Principles of English, English 7, English 8, English 9, Speech, and Journalism. Coaching Speech and/or One Act Play will be tied to this position.Teaching responsibilities may change depending upon the strengths of the successful candidate.
Additionally, the applicant must hold a Bachelor Degree in English Education 7-12 and have the appropriate certifications as required by NDE Rule 10. Knowledge of the Marzano Instructional Framework, Professional Learning Communities, and a strong desire to create a secondary English program that is at the top of the state will be considerations for these positions.
Kenesaw Public Schools was one of twenty-eight school districts in the state of Nebraska recognized as an Excellent district for the 2017-18 school year. We have high expectations for teachers and students. The base salary for the 2020-2021 school year is $36,500. We offer full family BCBS and single dental.
