5-12 Band Instructor 2026-2027
Johnson County Central Public Schools is currently seeking a highly motivated, enthusiastic, 5-12 instrumental music teacher. This position will begin in the fall of 2026. We are looking for candidates who are willing to invest in our community and the Johnson County Central School District, and someone who values a positive school culture. Johnson County Central has a four-day school week schedule. Our 2026-2027 base salary is $43,100 based on 177 days of service. A teacher entering the district will be credited with all years of actual teaching experience. Extra duty positions may be available. The high school is located in Tecumseh, Nebraska, and the middle school is located in Cook, Nebraska. Both sites are within an hour of Lincoln and Omaha.
