Agriculture Teacher/FFA Sponsor
Due to professional advancement, Howells-Dodge Consolidated Schools is accepting applications for an Agriculture Education Instructor for the 2021-2022 school year and beyond. This position would also be responsible for our active and successful FFA Program.
HDC is a progressive school district that provides exceptional opportunities for its students with great facilities, 1:1 Chromebooks, a veteran staff, 10:1 student to teacher ratio, and career pathways for college/career readiness through P2T and CTE classes. The district is centrally located 35-40 minutes from Norfolk, Columbus, and Fremont. Points to Consider:
- Howells and Dodge are extremely supportive of our program as production agriculture is prevalent in the area (community, business partnerships, alumni, and financially supported).
- 45 active FFA Members
- Courses taught: Introduction to Agriculture, Plant Science, Animal Science, Agriculture Business, Ag Technology Mechanics
Activity sponsorship and coaching may be available beyond the FFA sponsorship, but not required.
