7-12 Secondary Principal Position
High Plains Community Schools is accepting applications for a 7-12 Secondary Principal to join our district. The current student enrollment for grades 7-12 is approximately 100 students.
The Secondary Principal will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the junior high/high school. A successful candidate will be highly motivated with strong communication and organizational skills, and will hold students and staff accountable.
Requirements:

Applicants must hold or be able to obtain a Nebraska 7-12 Secondary Principal Administrative Certificate with a Master’s Degree in Educational Administration or a related field.

Experience with staff development, assessment coordination, continuous school improvement processes, evaluation of non-tenured and tenured staff, and the MTSS process is required.

Additional responsibilities, such as the Activities Director, may be available but not required.

Salary will depend on experience and the education completed. Start date will be July 1, 2026.
