Academy of Education, Law & Public Safety – Counseling & Mental Health Instructor
The Academy of Education, Law & Public Safety seeks a Counseling & Mental Health Instructor at the Wyandotte Learning Center. Courses to be taught will be Foundations of Counseling & Mental Health for all grades. Additional courses in Pathway will be implemented in year 2 & 3. When the Pathway is fully implemented, this position will be responsible for teaching the Junior & Senior level classes for Counseling & Mental Health. This position requires effective delivery of the subject area and working with local/regional industry partners to ensure the connections of curriculum and instruction to industry. Nebraska Department of Education Teaching Certificate (Regular or Career Education Permit) with an endorsement in Family & Consumer Sciences required.
