Physical Education Teacher

Columbus Public High School is currently hiring a physical education teacher for the 2024-2025 school year. The physical education teacher plans a physical education program involving demonstrations, lectures, and active student participation.  The teacher will identify pupils’ needs and cooperate with other professional staff members in helping pupils solve attitude and learning problems.  The instructor will also select and request books and instructional aids and supplies necessary for teaching.

Additional Information

Salary is determined by years of experience and education. 

Base salary for 2024-2025 school year starting at $40,200/year + $12,000 Cash Stipend ($1000/month to be used for purchase of health/dental insurance or may be taken as cash).

Up to 7 years of experience and all degree work accepted for placement.

$1000 Sign-on bonus.
