PK–12 School Counselor
Giltner Public Schools is accepting applications for the PK–12 School Counselor position for the 2026–2027 school year.
Applicants must possess, or be eligible to obtain (we will work with you to obtain a certificate), a Nebraska Teaching Certificate. Candidates who do not currently hold a school counseling endorsement may be eligible to begin their School Counseling Program through Rule 10 certification.
This position may include coaching opportunities for interested candidates; however, coaching is not required.
Giltner Public Schools is a D-2 school district serving approximately 225 students and prides itself on maintaining a low student-to-teacher ratio. The district is conveniently located between Aurora, Grand Island, and Hastings, Nebraska.

Start day of August 1; however, additional summer days can be added.

- Base Salary: $41,200 for the 2026–2027 school year
