Secondary Science Teacher + Athletic Director at Freeman Public Schools
Freeman Public Schools in Adams, NE is seeking highly qualified applicants for a Junior High /High School SCIENCE teaching position and High School ATHLETIC DIRECTOR for the 2022-23 school year. This position would include teaching science for a portion of the school day and fulfilling the duties of Athletic Director for a portion of the school day. The science classes taught are dependent on the candidate’s certification and experience. Extra duty pay will be included with the Athletic Director position for duties and supervision that occurs outside of the school day.
Freeman Public Schools is located in Adams, NE created by the consolidation of Adams and Filley in 1998. Our Junior High/High School averages 33 students per grade and is 1:1 with Chromebooks. We are a growing district with progressive curricular options and a history of success in athletics and activities. Qualified applicants must possess proper certification – if your certification is pending, please include the certification you will have. Science certifications at K-8, 5-9, and 7-12 grade levels will be considered. Experience in high school athletics as an athletic director or in coaching is preferred. A Master’s Degree is preferred but not required. The potential of coaching and extra-curricular opportunities are also availa0ble but not required.
