7-12 Special Education Teacher
Due to a retirement, Franklin Public Schools in Franklin, NE, is accepting applications for a 7-12 Special Education Teacher for the 2021-2022 school year. The position will remain open until filled. Franklin is located 50 miles southwest of Kearney, NE and is a Class D1 school with an average graduating class size of 20.
This person would be in charge of all 7-12 Special Education and 504 students. Candidates will need to collaborate with their teaching peers, and being willing to advocate for their special education students. They must be a good communicator, and a team player. Other roles could include being a member of the schools MTSS team, Reading PLC team, and possibly other duties if interested.
Franklin Public Schools offers a competitive salary with the current base of $35,075, and a 4% by 5% salary schedule for years of experience and continued education. Employees receive full family health insurance, single dental insurance, long term disability, and life insurance.
The start date for this position will be with the beginning of the 2021-2022 school year or August 2021.
