Agriculture Teacher and FFA Sponsor
Franklin Public Schools is seeking a dynamic and passionate individual to join our team as an Agricultural Instructor and FFA Sponsor for the 2025-2026 school year. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching agricultural education to students in grades 7-12, as well as guiding and mentoring students in the Future Farmers of America (FFA) program. This position offers an exciting opportunity to inspire the next generation of agricultural leaders and engage students in hands-on, career-building experiences.
Responsibilities:

Plan, develop, and implement agricultural education curriculum for grades 7-12.

Teach a variety of subjects including but not limited to plant science, animal science, and agribusiness.

Lead and sponsor the FFA chapter, including organizing meetings, events, competitions, and community service projects.

Support and supervise students in FFA leadership activities, including local, regional, and state events and competitions.

Foster a positive learning environment by creating engaging lessons and hands-on experiences.

Build relationships with local agricultural businesses, organizations, and community leaders to enhance educational and career opportunities for students.

Manage and maintain the school’s agricultural facilities, equipment, and supplies.

Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and administrators to support student success and development.
