Director of Technology

GENERAL DESCRIPTION: Oversee the development, maintenance, and utilization of

technology resources to support and enhance the educational mission of the district. In

collaboration with other district departments, provide leadership, direction and planning for all

areas of technology. Responsible for efficient operations of all computer applications, including

hardware, administrative software, data reporting systems, and training.

QUALIFICATIONS

● Education: Degree and/or experience in Education, Technology, Computer Program

Services, Computer Information Systems Management, Instructional Technology, or

related area.

● Certification: None required however technical certificates and/or educational certificates

preferred.

● Experience: Extensive experience in leadership, design and management of data

systems, computer systems, networking, and telephone systems. Experience in

education is preferred but not required.

● Other Requirements: Experience and familiarity with various technology platforms and

concepts, including: Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, Windows Server, Active

Directory, Mobile Device Management, reporting tools, telephone systems, and

educational data reporting requirements.

This is a 12 month contract.
