5th Grade Teacher

Faith Christian School is seeking applications for a new 5th-grade teacher.

Faith Christian School teachers are expected to prepare curriculum materials and be adaptable to the strengths and needs of students within and surrounding classroom academic work. This requires appropriate implementation of the curriculum with differentiation for students who are ready for an extension, as well as those who require extra support or scaffolding.

Teachers at Faith Christian School foster a sense of excellence that encourages students to be their best selves, spiritually, socially, and academically. Faith Christian families are committed to partnering with the school in this mission. To do this, teachers will maintain regular contact with parents to build and strengthen the community as a whole.
Additionally, teachers are members of a staff team that is committed to mutual encouragement and strengthening in the Word of God. Regular staff meetings are required and designed to equip and empower Faith Christian faculty with tools for use in the classroom and for personal spiritual development.
Teachers are central to the creation of a positive, Christ-centered learning environment for students and fellow staff. We look forward to meeting and interviewing candidates who share this philosophy and mission.

Qualifications:

  • Must hold a valid Nebraska Teacher’s Certificate with an Elementary K-6 Endorsement.

Education:

  • Must have a bachelor’s degree or higher
