Essential Functions of Position:

  1. Plan and implement programs for children/students birth to 21 in appropriate settings (natural environments, classroom, small group and individual).
  2. Possess knowledge of human development, neuromotor development and interventions, and of Rule 51 and Rule 52.
  3. Serve as an active member of the MDT & IEP/IFSP processes.
  4. Administer and interpret motor, sensory and functional assessments and rating scales to support eligibility and programming decisions for children birth-21.
  5. Provide ongoing interventions including coordination of services with the child’s team (including scheduling, traveling, and providing service).
  6. Stay abreast of and implement best practices and evidence based assessment and instructional strategies.
  7. Perform consultative duties with parents, teachers, outside care providers, other professionals, adaptive equipment vendors and ESU administration.
  8. Complete all the required paperwork and reports (ESU 10, school districts served and the Nebraska Department of Education).
  9. Develop and maintain constructive and cooperative working relationships with others.
  10. Willing to travel.
  11. Other duties as assigned.
  12. Regular and dependable attendance is an essential function of this position.
