This position is for an ELA instructor at the 7-12 level.  Classes include English Language Arts 7-9 and Journalism (Yearbook sponsor).  Average class size 10-15.  This position is open immediately and will stay open until the job is filled.

Additional Information

Base salary for 2025-2026 is $39,700 and for 2026-27 is $40,325.  This position includes Blue Cross/Blue Shield Health and Dental Insurance.  Elwood Public Schools takes all years of experience and education.  We are located seven miles from beautiful Johnson Lake.  We also are only 15 miles from I80, making access to the rest of the state very convenient.  Kearney is only 45 miles away!!!!

Starting date is immediate or for 2026-2027 will be August 4th.

This position is a 184 day contract.  The calendar also has a two week break for the Holidays.
