English Language Arts Teacher
Elwood Public School is seeking an English Language Arts teacher for the 2025-2026 school year. This position will teach a variety of courses from 7th grade language arts to journalism. Elwood currently employs two ELA teachers. Various extra duty sponsorships/coaching are available but not required.

Elwood Public School offers a competitive base salary. Base salary for 2024-2025 is $38,550. Base salary for 2025-2026 is still being negotiated. Elwood Public School offers up to family BC/BS health insurance and single dental. The contract will be for 184 days beginning on or about the 6th of August with an end date being middle of May. We are located near beautiful Johnson Lake and 45 miles southwest of Kearney. We are located only 15 miles from I80 making access to travel on I80 much easier.
