K-6 Special Education Teacher

Elmwood-Murdock Public Schools is accepting applications for a K-6 Special Education Teacher for the 2022-2023 school year.

Elmwood-Murdock is conveniently located 25 minutes east of Lincoln and 30 minutes southwest of the Omaha metro area.

The candidate must be willing to work individually or in small groups.  Must be willing to work with students with specific learning disabilities, autism, behavioral disorders, intellectual disabilities, and multiple impairments, and must be willing to collaborate with regular education and special education teachers to benefit student achievement.  Candidate must be responsible for student IEP’s, data collection, progress monitoring, and communicating with colleagues and families.

Additional Information

Base salary for 2021-2022 is $38,000.  Base salary for 2022-2023 is TBD.  Start date for this position is August 15, 2022.

Coaching opportunities are available, but not required with this position.
