K-6 Special Education Teacher – $2500 Hiring Bonus

Elmwood-Murdock Public Schools is accepting applications for two (2) K-6 Special Education Teachers for the 2026-2027 school year. As a school district, we will consider hiring one special education teacher starting immediately, if possible.

Elmwood-Murdock is conveniently located 25 minutes east of Lincoln and 30 minutes southwest of the Omaha metro area.

The successful candidates must hold the appropriate certification and be willing to work individually or in small groups.  Must be willing to work with students with specific learning disabilities, autism, behavioral disorders, intellectual disabilities, and multiple impairments, and must be willing to collaborate with regular education and special education teachers to benefit student achievement.  Candidate must be responsible for student IEP’s, data collection, progress monitoring, and communicating with colleagues and families.
