Possible Opening 7-12 Math Teacher

Elm Creek Public Schools is looking for a passionate, collaborative, reflective 7–12 Math Teacher.  The ideal candidate creates engaging, inclusive classrooms where students feel challenged, supported, and capable of success.

What You’ll Do

• Teach math courses across grades 7–12 (specific assignments based on experience and school needs)

• Design and deliver engaging, standards aligned instruction that meets the needs of all learners

• Use formative and summative assessments to guide instruction and provide timely feedback

• Create a classroom culture that is inclusive, respectful, and academically rigorous

• Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum planning, data analysis, and instructional improvement

• Integrate technology and real world applications to make math relevant and accessible

• Communicate regularly with students and families to support learning and growth

• Participate in professional learning, team meetings, and school wide initiatives to provide the best learning opportunities we can for all kids.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics or a related field

• Valid teaching certification for secondary mathematics

• Strong content knowledge across middle and/or high school math

• Commitment to collaboration and high expectations for all students

• Ability to build positive relationships with students and colleagues

• Growth mindset and openness to feedback and collaboration

Nice to Have

• Experience teaching both middle and high school math

• Familiarity with differentiated instruction, and MTSS

• Experience using data to inform instruction
