Anticipated 7-12 Principal/Athletic Director

Elm Creek is seeking a dynamic, student centered 7–12 Principal/AD to lead through its next chapter of growth and excellence. This role is ideal for a leader who believes schools should be rigorous, inclusive, innovative, and deeply rooted in our values of small town. You’ll help lead collaboration to continue to build strong systems we have in place and inspire teachers and students to do their best work everyday.

What You’ll Do

As Principal, you’ll balance big picture leadership with hands on presence. Key responsibilities include:

• Lead with Vision: Facilitate and execute a clear, compelling academic and cultural vision aligned with district goals and community values.
• Champion Teaching & Learning: Support high quality instruction through collaboration, coaching, observation, leading data informed decision making, and professional learning.
• Build a Strong School Culture: Foster a collaborative safe, inclusive, and respectful environment where students and staff feel seen, supported, and challenged.
• Develop People: Recruit, retain, and grow exceptional teachers and leaders; provide meaningful feedback and pathways for growth as we work to build the leadership capacity of all of our people
• Support Students Holistically: Ensure systems are in place to support academic success, social emotional learning, and postsecondary readiness.
• Partner with Families & Community: Communicate transparently and collaborate with families, community partners, and district stakeholders that love supporting our school.
• Manage Effectively: Work with the administration team to set up systems that will help our staff and students reach their full potential while overcoming road blocks along the way.
