Literacy Coach

ESU 8 is seeking a dynamic and experienced educator with excellent interpersonal skills to join our team as a Professional Learning Coordinator / Literacy Coach.  This individual will be responsible for working collaboratively with ESU 8 school districts and other literacy coaches throughout the state to support service planning and to coordinate and deliver high-quality professional learning opportunities.

A key focus of this role is serving as a Literacy Coach, providing critical support to districts in implementing and maintaining quality educational instruction in reading and language arts, with a special emphasis on grades PK-3. This position will require training days in the summer of 2026.  The start date is yet to be determined.  This position is financed by funds from the Nebraska State Legislature, the funding is guaranteed through spring 2027. Further funding is anticipated, but not guaranteed.
