Mental Health Program Lead
The Mental Health Program Lead develops and provides programs and support services based on the requested and assessed needs of area schools. These programs and support services will promote improved adult and student learning through relevant, individualized, and ongoing professional development that includes collaboration and reflective practice.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be
assigned.

Provides individual and group counseling services to students in K-12 school settings addressing a wide range of mental health concerns such as anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, and trauma.

Conducts comprehensive mental health assessments and collaborates with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop personalized treatment plans for students.

Implements evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), play therapy, and social-emotional learning strategies to support students’ social and emotional well-being.

Designs and delivers training workshops for teachers and staff members on topics related to mental health, behavior management, and crisis intervention.

Develops and implements interventions that address the specific needs of students, promoting positive behavior, conflict resolution, and academic engagement.

Collaborates with school administrators and multidisciplinary teams to create a supportive and inclusive school environment that fosters student success and well-being.

Stays up-to-date with current research, best practices, and regulations in the field of school-based mental health services.

Maintains accurate and confidential records of student progress, treatment plans, and interventions in compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Regular and dependable attendance on site and in person is an essential function of this position.
