ESU 4 Life Skills Teacher (Special Education)
ESU 4, representing school districts in Johnson, Nemaha, Otoe, Pawnee, and Richardson Counties, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Life Skills Teacher to support students with disabilities, ages 18-21, in developing the essential skills needed for greater independence, employment, and community involvement. The ideal candidate will provide instruction and guidance in a variety of real-world settings and collaborate with families, agencies, and support staff to promote successful post-school outcomes.
This position may evolve into a teaching role within a contained behavior program, depending on student needs and program development. Candidates with experience in behavioral support and structured learning environments are encouraged to apply.
ESU 4 offers an outstanding salary and benefit package. The ideal candidate will need to possess a valid Nebraska teachers certificate with an appropriate endorsement in Special Education.
