Early Childhood Speech Language Pathologist
ESU #2 is accepting applications for an Early Childhood Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will work with young children (birth to 5 years old) to assess, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders, while collaborating closely with families, caregivers, and other professionals. The ideal candidate will have experience working in early childhood settings and a strong understanding of developmental milestones and therapeutic techniques.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine speech and language delays or disorders in young children.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans and treatment goals.
- Provide one-on-one therapy sessions to children with speech and language delays or disorders.
- Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and teachers to provide strategies for supporting speech and language development at home and in the classroom.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of assessments, treatment plans, and progress reports.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to ensure holistic care and development for each child.
- Stay updated on the latest research and best practices in early childhood speech therapy.
