School Psychologist – ESU 15

 

Educational Service Unit 15 is seeking a dynamic School Psychologist for the 2026–2027 school year. While we are seeking a full-time candidate, we may consider FTE equivalency under 1.0 for the right candidate. Interns are also encouraged to apply.

Required Skills and Knowledge

The successful applicant should possess strong knowledge and experience in the following areas:

  • Conduct Psycho-educational Assessments & Evaluations

  • Lead Multi-disciplinary Team Meetings

  • Participate in Problem-solving processes and consultation

  • Provide Mental health services and social skills support

  • Consult with district stakeholders to develop evidence-based academic interventions and IEPs.   

  • Lead the development of Functional Behavior Assessments and Behavior Intervention Plans

  • Use, analyze, and interpret data

  • Work with students spanning PK-21 years old

Applicants must also demonstrate strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills to effectively develop relationships with administrators, staff, students, and parents.

Requirements & Certifications

Current certification as a school psychologist is required. Candidates must possess or be able to obtain valid Nebraska credentials for this position. An intern would be considered.
