Comprised of the two Omaha Schools (Kellom and Indian Hill) and the three Early Learning Centers (Skinner, Gateway and Kennedy), the mission of of Omaha, Inc. is to promote school readiness by enhancing the social and cognitive development of children ages 0 to 5 years through the provision of evidence-based education, health, nutritional, social, family engagement and other services to enrolled children and their families.
The Substitute Teacher plays an essential role in the classroom by providing educational, social, and emotional development for all students by following the program standards of of Omaha, Early Head Start, Sixpence, Nebraska Department of Education, and NAEYC. Substitute Teachers and Assistants are eligible for insurance benefits if working 30+ hours per week
Schedule: On-call availability, Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm. (8 – 40 hours per week, choose your own schedule!)

- High School Diploma or GED
- One year of experience in a licensed childcare program
- Must be at least 18 years of age
