Technology Integration Specialist

Due to retirement, Malcolm Public Schools is seeking a Technology Integration Specialist for the 2024-2025 school year.  The Technology Integrationist will play a critical role in supporting students, teachers, and staff in effectively integrating technology into the curriculum and instructional practices.  This individual will collaborate with educators to design, implement, and evaluate technology-enhanced learning experiences that engage students and promote digital literacy skills.  We invite candidates who have a passion for technology to apply.  This position can be molded to fit your strengths and interests.  

Possible Roles and Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with teachers to identify and integrate technology tools and resources.

• Provide professional development and training sessions for teachers on educational technology tools, platforms, and best practice.

• Support the selection and evaluation of educational software, apps, and digital resources.

• Troubleshoot technical issues.

• Stay informed about emerging trends and research in educational technology and instructional design.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors and/or masters degree in education (any endorsement), Instructional Technology, or a related technology field.

• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups (students, teachers, staff, etc.)
