School Counselor (K-12 or K-8)

Deshler Public School is accepting applications for a Guidance Counselor for the 2025-2026 school year.  This position can be K-8, K-12.  Coaching positions are available but not required with this position.  The successful candidate must possess a Nebraska Teaching Certificate and be able to obtain or be working on the School Counseling Endorsement as required by NDE.  The 2025-26 Base Pay will $39,400 and DPS will accept all years of experience and completed graduate educational course work.

Deshler is a Class D1 school located 60-miles south of York and is member of the Twin Valley Conference (TVC).  Deshler Public Schools is a progressive district with strong community relations.  We have a strong dual-credit program and provide career readiness classes.
