Cross County is taking applications for the following position for the 2025-2026 school year.
8-12 English/Language Arts Teacher.
We have multiple coaching and activity sponsor positions available with this position, including Head Speech Coach, Asst. Varsity Football, Asst. Varsity Volleyball, Head Wrestling, Asst. Varsity Wrestling, Asst. Track (JH & HS).
This position is open because of professional advancement. The district has outstanding students, excellent staff and outstanding facilities which are located 15 minutes north of York, Nebraska.
Cross County is a Certified High Reliability School through the Marzano Institute. Cross County has reached Levels 1, 2, and 3 within the High Reliability School Framework and is the only school in the State of Nebraska to do so at this time.

The successful candidate will be given all years of experience on salary schedule.
Base salary for 2024-2025 school year is $40,000.00. The 2025-2026 base salary has not been officially approved. Once the 25-26 base salary has been approved, we will update this ad to show the updated base salary.
Expected starting date for the 25-26 school year for new staff is August 7th, 2025.
