High School Math Teacher
Cozad High School is accepting applications for a High School Mathematics teacher for the 2025-2026 school year. The Cozad High School Math Department offers courses in the areas of Algebra, Geometry, Algebra II, Advanced College Algebra, Trigonometry and Calculus. We are currently in year three of providing continued MTSS intervention support for our 9th grade students who qualify as they transition from Cozad Middle School. We are school with an AQUEST rating of GREAT!

Applicants should possess a valid Nebraska teaching certificate with the appropriate endorsement.

Extra duty opportunities are available, but are not required. Coaching and extra duty opportunities will be available but are not required. Coaching opportunites at this time include: Head Girls Basketball Coach, Head Dance Sponsor, Assistant High School Girls Wrestling Coach, Assistant Middle School Football Coach, Assistant Middle School Volleyball Coach, and Assistant High School Football Coach.

- Base pay 2025-26: $39,000
- Start on BA+0 STEP 3 of pay scale, or at the most appropriate step commensurate with qualifications with the higher salary
- Full health insurance paid by the district
Required qualifications: certified or ability to be certified as a secondary mathematics teacher.
