Early Childhood Special Education Teacher

SIDNEY PUBLIC SCHOOLS is seeking applications for an Early Childhood Special Education Teacher beginning in the 2024-25 school year. Applicants must possess or be able to obtain a valid Nebraska teaching certificate prior to employment.  Sidney Public Schools is a progressive and student centered school district located in Western Nebraska, along the I-80 corridor, 90 miles east of Cheyenne, Wyoming. The applicant must have a growth-minded disposition that reflects the desire to build capacity for all learners, the capability to implement research-based best practices, along with the knowledge to interpret data to make informed instructional decisions for the benefit of student achievement and success. Duties include: Ability to work with a variety of groups, teachers, parents and children in homes, daycares and preschools; demonstrate the ability to plan, direct, implement and evaluate successful learning environments; knowledge of primary service provider approach to services is preferred, but training and support will be provided to the successful candidate.
