Conestoga Public Schools is looking for a District Technology Manager to assist with managing the day to day operations of technology resources in the district. This person would assist with deploying, troubleshooting and repairing all district technology resources. The District Technology Manager would also assist with troubleshooting and the deploying of all district software/programs used on district owned devices. The District Technology Manager helps to ensure that all district technology is able to be used in a manner that meets and exceeds the district’s goals of preparing and inspiring the students for the future. 

The District Technology Manager reports to the Director of Technology and assists with maintaining network and server infrastructure across the district. This person must maintain a “customer focused” work ethic and prioritize the daily workload and projects to help ensure availability of technology resources.

Skills and knowledge for this role include having a basic understanding of Networking, LAN and WLAN troubleshooting, Ubiquiti Unifi experience a plus, server and virtualization concepts, Active Directory as well Azure AD, MDM solutions such as Mosyle and Intune, SSO understanding, ClassLink, Google Admin, SIS workflows. Experience with multiple operating systems preferred. A willingness to learn and keep current on technology trends while maintaining a security focused mindset is required. We will train up the right individual that shows a desire to learn new things.

Physical requirements include working on elevated surfaces for extended time and lifting around 50 lbs. The ability to work independently is required at times and may include evening and weekend work on occasion in order to minimize the disruption of our end users.
