Physical Education Teacher

West Park Elementary School is currently hiring a physical education teacher for the 2025-2026 school year.   The instructor will develop lesson plans and instructional materials that provide individual and small group instruction to adapt the curriculum to the need of each student.  The teacher will be able to instruct students and revise curriculum to meet the needs of identified handicapped students who may be placed in a regular classroom. The instructor also serves as an advisor to a small number of students daily and directs these students in activities to develop relationships, decision making skills, and self-esteem.

Additional Information

Salary is determined by years of experience and education. 

Base salary for 2025-26 school year starting at $41,100/year + $12,000 Cash Stipend ($1000/month to be used for purchase of health/dental insurance or may be taken as cash).

Up to 7 years of experience and all degree work accepted for placement.

$1000 Sign-on bonus.

Starting August 1, 2025.
