Elementary Special Education Teacher
Columbus Public School District is hiring a special education teacher for Centennial Elementary School for the 2022-2023 school year. The teacher will collaborate with the general education teachers to ensure that accommodations are in place while the student is in the general education setting. The instructor will develop students’ cognitive, emotional and social capacities for learning. The teacher will also maintain compliance on all special education procedures, timelines, and documents such as Individual Education Program (IEP), progress reporting, parent notification, consents, and evaluation processes.

Salary is determined by years of experience and education.
Base salary starting at $38,650 + $12,000 Cash Stipend ($1000/month to be used for purchase of health/dental insurance or may be taken as cash).
Up to 7 years of experience and all degree work accepted for placement.
