• Columbus Public Schools is seeking Special Education instructors for the 2025-2026 school year, to engage students to meet their academic potential using high quality curriculum.

• Base pay of $41,100
• Special Education bonus of up to $2500 and all years of experience may be granted if deemed a hard-to-fill position. Stipend for additional caseload.
• $1000 monthly stipend for insurance or cash
• 3 days of annual personal leave

Description: Certified Special Education Teacher

Job Summary: This is the application page for special education teaching candidates to submit their materials if they do not currently see a specific opening in their endorsed or desired area.

Qualifications: Must have or be eligible for a Nebraska Teaching Certificate.

Working Conditions: 90% indoors, 10% outdoors. 75% standing 15% sitting 10% stoop, bend, or squat.  Light lifting < 15 lbs.
