English as a Second Language
Chase County Schools has a 7-12 ESL/ELL position available for the 2022-2023 school year. There are currently 25 students in the program with 5 fully integrated in the classroom and more ready to transition out of the program. There are two full time ELL teachers on staff at CCS including a K-6 teacher and a 7-12 teacher. Chase County Schools is a Class C1 school who serves around 620 students K-12. We have many teacher supports in place including a full time bilingual curriculum and assessment coordinator who is there to assist teachers with anything they need. We have a younger energetic staff and are located in an area with great amenities including hunting, fishing, golfing etc. and only 2 hours and 45 minutes from Denver.

Teachers make anywhere from $42,000 to $71,000 depending on years of experience and education. We offer an EHA Blue Cross/Blue Shield full family health insurance plan paid in full by the district, single dental insurance with the option for family dental, 10 sick days and 4 personal days, long term disability insurance, vision insurance, 403B and other optional benefits.
Start date will be approximately August 15, 2022.
