Legal Studies Faculty

 

Full-time faculty in the Justice Studies, Social Sciences, and English Department with primary teaching emphasis in undergraduate Legal Studies courses and related areas as assigned by Dean. The faculty member participates in the department and the institution’s communities of learners to foster a culture of inquiry, critical self-reflection, evidence-based decision making, and a learner-centered environment.

Additional Information

 

Required Qualifications:
Juris Doctorate from an American Bar Association accredited law school
Current license to practice law in at least one jurisdiction
College-level teaching experience in the areas of litigation, commercial law, public law, and/or a focus on legal research and writing
Preferred Qualifications:
Three (3) or more years of college-level teaching in a face-to-face classroom environment
Salary:
Rank and Salary commensurate with qualifications and in accordance with SCEA Agreement; excellent benefits package
January 2023 start date preferred, but full consideration given to candidates who are unable to start in January 2023 but would be available to start no later than August 2023.
