Special Education Coordinator/Lead Teacher

Centura Public Schools is currently accepting applications for a Special Education Coordinator/Lead Teacher for the 2022-2023 school year. Centura Public Schools is a PK-12 C-2 district located in Central Nebraska, approximately 20 miles from Grand Island, NE. Centura and its collaborative partners are an innovative community. The Special Education Coordinator/Lead Teacher is responsible for providing leadership and instructional programs for students with disabilities to enhance skills needed for future transitioning into the next stage of his/her life.  This person will assist the administrative team in coordinating and supporting the students and staff in Special Education.   Time management, collaboration, detail oriented, teamwork, and leadership development skills are required along with a strong background in technology.

Applicants must have a current Nebraska teaching certificate with Special Education endorsement(s).

Additional Information

Position to begin in the 2022-2023 school year.  Coaching and Extra Duty assignments available. BCBS $1,200 Deductible Full Family Health Insurance and other benefits available. Salary will be determined according to placement on the salary schedule.
