Speech Language Pathologist
Broken Bow Public School is currently accepting applications for a Speech Language Pathologist for the 2023/2024 school year. Under the general supervision of the building principal, the SLP will work with students who are identified with language disabilities, articulation deficits, disfluent speech, and voice disorders. Speech Language Pathologists provide direct instruction to eligible students in the areas of speech and language development, and collaborates with teachers, parents and other staff members as a part of the IEP process. Valid NE teaching certificate with applicable endorsement required. Broken Bow accepts all years of teaching experience on the salary scale, and all new teachers automatically start on Step 3 of the district pay scale ($3,000 increase). Teachers receive up to full family BCBS insurance and have 10 Personal Time Off days each year. Broken Bow Public Schools also provides continuous in and out-of-state training to all of its teaching staff to further enhance their professional growth within the PLC instructional model.
