    POSITION SUMMARY:

  • The Assistant Cheerleading Coach facilitates running an after school activity club focused on cheer leading activities.
  • This position also instructs student participants and assists students in achieving a high level of skill, an appreciation for the values and discipline of participation, and an increased level of self-esteem.

 EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred
  • Previous experience leading student groups is preferred
  • Available to work evenings or weekends as needed (Part Time position)
  • Ability to motivate students to actively participate in club activities.
  • Knowledge of the subject matter.
  • Ability to communicate in an articulate, professional manner while maintaining necessary degree of confidentiality.
  • Ability to adapt responses to situations while maintaining procedural and regulatory integrity.
  • Ability to build and sustain successful, professional relationships.
