Agriculture Education Teacher and FFA Sponsor (Grades 7-12)

The Bloomfield Community School District is hiring a Vocational Agriculture Teacher (Grades 7-12) for the 2022 – 2023 School Year. The FFA sponsor will also be part of this position. 

The Bloomfield Agriculture program has a rich history of success at the state and national levels. 35-day extended contract.

Position Purpose

Under the general supervision of the School Principal, Vocational Agriculture Education and FFA work to provide students opportunities to build leadership skills, personal growth, and career success.  See the school’s full posting for a list of Essential Functions, Additional Duties, Equipment, Travel Requirements, and Knowledge/Skills/Abilities.

Certification/License: Proper Nebraska  State Teacher Certification.

Education: Bachelors from an accredited college or university in education discipline applicable to teaching assignment.

FLSA Status: Exempt

Bloomfield Community Schools pays for all years of teaching experience and advanced education for initial placement on the salary schedule.

Additional Information

Starting Base Salary: $37,500.00 with a 4×4 salary schedule.

Employment will commence on or about August 15th, 2022
