School Nutrition Supervisor @ Beatrice Elementary

We are seeking a motivated and skilled School Nutrition Supervisor to oversee and manage the daily operations of our school nutrition program. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing nutritious meals to students, experience in managing a team, and the ability to handle a fast-paced environment. As the Nutrition Supervisor, you will supervise a dedicated staff of 11 and ensure that food safety, quality, and service standards are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and lead a team of 11 school nutrition staff, ensuring a positive and efficient work environment.
• Manage the day-to-day operations of the school nutrition program, including meal preparation, inventory management, and food distribution.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and standards, including overseeing staff training and maintaining food safety protocols.
• Multi-task in a fast-paced environment while prioritizing tasks and responsibilities.
• Lift and carry up to 50 pounds as required for food storage and delivery.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory, daily meal counts, and program performance.

Qualifications:

• ServSafe certification required.
• Previous experience in school nutrition, food service, or a similar role is preferred.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to multi-task and adapt to changing priorities.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks related to food service operations.
