Bayard Public Schools is accepting applications for a full-time, K-12 Music Teacher. Candidates must hold or be eligible to receive a valid Nebraska Teaching Certificate with an endorsement in Music for the 2026-27 school year.
Bayard Public Schools is located in the southern Panhandle of Nebraska, just east of Scottsbluff and approximately three hours from Denver, Colorado. The district benefits from high extracurricular participation, engaged families, and a community that strongly supports its schools.
Bayard High School serves approximately 135 students in grades 7–12, with Bayard Elementary School conveniently located across the street. The district’s total PK–12 enrollment is approximately 300 students, allowing for close collaboration, strong relationships, and a student-centered environment.
Bayard Public Schools is accredited by the Nebraska Department of Education and is a member of the Western Trails Conference and the Minute Man Conference.

Start date is on or about August 1, 2026 with a contract of 185 days of service. Bayard Public Schools offers a competitive salary and benefit package that is commensurate with experience.
