Upper Elementary (3-6) & Middle School Special Education Teacher
Axtell Community School is accepting applications for an upper elementary special education teacher and a middle school special education teacher. Applicants must possess a Nebraska teaching certificate with a special education endorsement. These positions may include extra duty coaching positions in football and basketball.
Axtell Community School is a progressive class D district with 344 PreK-12 students enrolled. We are located 15 miles south of Kearney and have a population of 800 people.

The base salary 2025-26 is $40,200 with a salary schedule of a 4 X 4.5 index. We take up to 15 years of successful teaching experience. We offer BC/BS of Nebraska with a $1.050 deductible and a option of a Health Savings Account. Axtell Community School is an Equal Opportunity Employer. EOP
