Head Girls Basketball Coach
The Aurora Public School District is currently accepting applications for the Head Girls Basketball Coach for the 2025-26 school year. Candidates must hold, or be able to obtain Nebraska Department of Education Teacher Certification or Special Services Certificate in the area of coaching. All interested candidates, regardless of teaching endorsements/positions are encouraged to apply. The Head Basketball Coach is responsible for leading the basketball program in a manner that serves the best interests of the school district and the student athletes who participate at any level in that program. The head coach works cooperatively with the administrators of the school to assure that the activities related to the program are consistent with building needs and practices as well as the rules identified by the Central Conference and the Nebraska School Activities Association. The head coach assures that all program staff and participating students adhere to the Policies of the Board of Education and the high school code of conduct. This position is responsible for creating and maintaining high expectations for the basketball program and the student athletes who participate.

Screening of applicants will begin immediately and position will remain open until filled. Position will begin August 1, 2025, with camps, clinics, and strength/conditioning in June and July, 2025.
