K-12 Special Education
Arthur County Schools in Arthur Nebraska is seeking qualified candidates for a K-12 Special Education Resource teacher. This position will require candidates to follow district policies and meet the requirements of Rule 51. They will be able to administer formal and informal assessments, collect data to monitor progress, through various assessments. Be an active member of the Multidisciplinary Team, coordinate and update IEP documents on SRS system. Choose or design appropriate instructional strategies and materials to carry out the IEP goals in collaboration with regular education and other special service providers. Provide Instruction based on student needs, and serve as an advocate for students with special needs.
Boys Basketball coaching may be available but is not required with this position.
Successful candidates will hold or be able to hold valid Teaching certificate with the proper endorsement for this position. Arthur County Schools is located in the village of Arthur in the Sandhills area of Nebraska. It is 25 Miles North of Lake McConaughy , near Ogallala, Nebraska. We have strong community support. We offer a competitive salary and benefit package. The Current Base Salary for a beginning teacher with no experience is at $35,500 plus full insurance.
