K-8 Principal
St. Margaret Mary Parish in Omaha is seeking a dedicated and experienced educational leader to fill the principal position at St. Margaret Mary School beginning in the 2025-2026 academic year. St. Margaret Mary School, which serves nearly 500 students from kindergarten through 8th grade, is dedicated to cultivating a love for Jesus Christ, fidelity to His Church, and a commitment to the dignity of the human person within its students and the wider school community.
The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker, committed to Catholic education, and able to advance the mission and vision of the school. This individual must be a proven, effective and diplomatic communicator. A commitment to working in a collaborative environment for the benefit of the students at St. Margaret Mary is essential.
The principal at St. Margaret Mary School will be responsible for achieving and sustaining comprehensive distinction in three key areas: mission and Catholic identity, academic excellence, and governance and leadership. As the spiritual, educational, and operational leader of the school, the principal will focus on fostering a vibrant Catholic school culture, promoting academic excellence, and effectively managing school resources.

Education and Experience
- Master’s degree in educational administration
- Possess of have the ability to possess a valid Nebraska Educational Administrative Certificate
- 3-5 years of previous administrator experience preferred
- 3-5 years of classroom teaching experience required
- Salary commensurate with education and years of experience.
- Principal position is for the 2025-2026 school year with a contract start date of August 1, 2025.
