Middle/High School English opening for the 2025-2026 school year.

Archangels Catholic High School (ACHS) is a newly merged school between Lindsay Holy Family and Humphrey St. Francis located in Humphrey, Nebraska.  ACHS is committed to excellence with a strong Catholic identity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Teach English Language Arts at the middle and high school level
  • Create engaging lessons that foster a love of reading, writing, and critical thinking
  • Integrate Catholic values and worldview into classroom culture and instruction
  • Maintain a classroom environment that promotes respect, creativity, and academic success
  • Use assessments and student data to inform instruction and provide meaningful feedback
  • Collaborate with faculty on curriculum planning, school initiatives, and student support
  • Communicate consistently with parents, staff, and administrators to support student growth
  • Person with a strong Catholic faith is desired as the Catholic faith is the foundation to our education.

Qualifications

  • Valid Nebraska teaching certificate with appropriate English endorsement (or ability to obtain)
  • Strong Catholic faith and a desire to model and share that faith in a school setting
  • Bachelors degree in English, Education, or a related field
  • Strong classroom management, organization, and communication skills
  • Commitment to the mission of Catholic education
  • Safe Environment certification is required
