Elementary Principal- Aquinas Catholic Schools

The Principal of Aquinas Elementary is responsible for the operation and oversight of activities relating to the education of students in grades PK-5. The position is responsible for daily functions which include, but are not limited to: operation of the school within the scope of the mission and in compliance with standards of accreditation; spiritual guidance and direction of all programs for the enhancement of the devotional life of the students; employment/evaluation/development of faculty and staff; fiscal responsibility within budget guidelines; as well as assistance to students in attaining their academic and extra-curricular levels of excellence.

Master’s Degree in Education is required. Must hold or be eligible to obtain a Nebraska Department of Education Administrative Certificate with a K-6 Principal endorsement. Prior Administrative experience in an educational setting preferred. Knowledge of curriculum development, technology, supervision of staff, staff evaluation, discipline policies, school laws, management of staff and students, planning, and community relations.

Aquinas Elementary is a parochial school in David City, Nebraska with a preK-5 enrollment of 225 students that strives to provide a Christ-centered learning environment where we develop individuals to be Disciples of Christ in all areas of their lives.
