Secondary Math Teacher

 

Ansley Public Schools is accepting applications for a Secondary Math Teacher for the 2026–2027 school year. We are seeking a motivated, student-centered educator who is committed to academic excellence and building strong relationships with students. Ansley Public Schools is a small rural district serving students in grades PK–12. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Teach high school mathematics courses aligned with Nebraska standards

  • Design and implement engaging, standards-based instruction

  • Use data to inform instruction and support student learning

  • Create a positive, respectful, and inclusive classroom environment

  • Collaborate with colleagues through PLCs and professional learning

  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff

  • Support school activities and contribute to a positive school culture

  • Possible coaching assignments available based on candidate interest, experience, and district needs

Additional Information

Qualifications:

  • Nebraska Teaching Certificate with appropriate Math endorsement (or ability to obtain)
  • Strong content knowledge and effective instructional practices
  • Commitment to student success and continuous professional growth
  • Ability to work collaboratively with students, staff, and families
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills

Additional Information:

  • Base salary: $41,500
  • All years of experience accepted
  • First-year teachers will be placed at Step II with a starting salary of $43,130
  • Salary schedule: 4% x 5% 
  • Competitive benefits package, including full family health insurance
  • Start date will be in August of 2026
  • EOE – Subject to Veteran’s Preference
