Secondary Math Teacher
Ansley Public Schools is accepting applications for a Secondary Math Teacher for the 2026–2027 school year. We are seeking a motivated, student-centered educator who is committed to academic excellence and building strong relationships with students. Ansley Public Schools is a small rural district serving students in grades PK–12. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Teach high school mathematics courses aligned with Nebraska standards

Design and implement engaging, standards-based instruction

Use data to inform instruction and support student learning

Create a positive, respectful, and inclusive classroom environment

Collaborate with colleagues through PLCs and professional learning

Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff

Support school activities and contribute to a positive school culture

Possible coaching assignments available based on candidate interest, experience, and district needs
Grades
9–12Additional Information
Qualifications:
- Nebraska Teaching Certificate with appropriate Math endorsement (or ability to obtain)
- Strong content knowledge and effective instructional practices
- Commitment to student success and continuous professional growth
- Ability to work collaboratively with students, staff, and families
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
Additional Information:
- Base salary: $41,500
- All years of experience accepted
- First-year teachers will be placed at Step II with a starting salary of $43,130
- Salary schedule: 4% x 5%
- Competitive benefits package, including full family health insurance
- Start date will be in August of 2026
- EOE – Subject to Veteran’s Preference
