Due to professional advancement, Anselmo-Merna Public School is currently accepting  applications for an K-12 PE / Weights / Health Teacher for the 2025/2026 school year.   Anselmo Merna Public School is located in Merna Nebraska. Student enrollment is currently 245 inside the P-12 building, and the school district was recently recognized as “Great” by Nebraska AQuESTT ratings. Base salary is step 0 = $38,500

Valid NE teaching certificate with applicable endorsement is required. Anselmo Merna accepts all years of teaching experience for movement on the salary scale.  Teachers receive up to full family BCBS insurance and have 13 leave days each year and can be banked up to 40 days and are allowed 3 professional days per year. Anselmo Merna Public School also provides professional development aligned with school improvement goals to all of its staff and is supported through ESU 10.

Extra standard responsibilities are available as well. – wrestling, football, basketball, and track!
